The world is so big, and there are all kinds of strange things. Although the cheetah is the running champion on land, it does not mean that it can also get the title of first place on earth. Among the birds that fly in the sky, there is a raptor called the peregrine falcon, which is much faster than the cheetah. Even the human high-speed rail is not as fast as the peregrine falcon. It is definitely the fastest flying animal in the world and is a born "deadly killer"!

The peregrine falcon has a very wide range of life, and they will be in many deserts, coasts, and grasslands. There are distributions in the land of rivers. Sometimes they also go to some open farms and cultivated fields, so they prey on a variety of foods. Peregrine falcons catch flying birds such as pheasants and gulls, but they also catch ground-crawling animals such as mice and rabbits.

The peregrine falcon is a very ferocious animal. It is very courageous and dares to attack animals that are much larger than it. It is precisely because of its boldness that it has to be more careful when hunting in the air, which has also cultivated its flight speed that has been passed down from generation to generation.

Zoologists say that peregrine falcons are not born to fly so fast, just like humans train athletes. The peregrine falcon also undergoes a series of very hard training from an early age. Their parents would capture a pigeon or other bird to bring to the juvenile peregrine falcon, and then release it for the juvenile peregrine falcon to hunt in order to increase its speed. Generally, after 1-2 months, the peregrine falcon will develop a good skill.

The peregrine falcon has sharp eyes that can see prey up to 1 km away, and its vision is about 8 times better than that of humans. When the peregrine falcon soaring high in the sky finds its prey in the low sky, it will swoop down and attack. It first flaps its wings to accelerate, and constantly rotates its body to find the best angle to attack its prey.

Here we will mention its special ability - flying dive. The flying speed of the peregrine falcon can reach 390 kilometers per hour, which is the fastest speed in the bird world. When hunting, the peregrine falcon will fly upward. After reaching a certain height, it will retract its wings and rely on the acceleration of gravity of the earth to make its flight speed even higher. With such a speed, no matter how it attacks, it can seriously injure its prey.
