Of course there are many types of forests scattered in the world. Come on, let's recognize it!
An area must cover at least half a hectare to be called forest. Forest is an area consisting of a collection of plant vegetation dominated by trees and other plants that stretches wide enough in an area so as to create a certain (typical) climate that is different from the surrounding area. Of course there are many types of forests scattered in the world. Come on, let's recognize it!
• Boreal Forest
One type of forest in the world is boreal forest. This forest is spread across Europe, Asia, North America. The boreal forest has a cold climate that causes low species diversity. In addition, the soil in boreal forests tends to be low in nutrients, acidic, the most common tree species found in this forest are conifers.
• Scrub and Thorns
Rainfall is less than 1,000 mm per year, dry month period is more than 6 months per year, most of the vegetation is scattered with small and spiny leaves and low undercoat. Found in Asia and South America with plant species Cactus, Leguminosae, Bombax, and Euphorbiae.
• Moderate Climate Rainforest
This forest is located in a temperate climate or tropical highlands. There are not many flora and fauna that live in this forest, because only cold-resistant fauna and flora can survive in this forest. The temperate rain forests are generally scattered in the northern part of the Earth, namely Alaska, northern Asia, North America, and Australia.
• Medium Area Forest
The average monthly temperature is 10℃ -20℃ rainfall is 250 mm- 100 mm per year. Found in Asia (Southern China, Southern Japan, Himalayas below 150 m above sea level, Northern Australia, New Zealand and America (Flrida, Chile, Southeast Brazil and the Andes Mountains up to 1,500 m above sea level).
• Forest Nature Reserve
Forest Nature Reserve is a forest area which due to its unique characteristics is specifically designated for the protection of biological nature or other benefits. Forest nature reserves consist of nature reserves and wildlife reserves.
Nature Reserve is a nature reserve area whose natural condition has the uniqueness of plants, animals and certain ecosystems or ecosystems that need to be protected and its development takes place naturally.
Wildlife sanctuary is a nature reserve area that has a characteristic in the form of diversity or uniqueness of animal species which for their survival can be carried out on their habitat.
This is an explanation of the types of forests in the world and their distribution.
